Ni Ahmad

Registered Psychologist

Ni is a board-approved supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for the 4+2 and 5+1 Psychologist registration pathways. She has extensive experience providing individual and group supervision in several settings, including private practice and non-government organisations. Ni is an Adjunct Fellow with Macquarie University in Sydney, working to support their Master of Psychology interns in field placements.

Ni provides supervision of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. Ni is passionate about working with and supporting trauma-based presentations, working with modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocess (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT). She is also passionate about working with families using an attachment lens.

Ni is trained and skilled in a number of psychometric assessments for diagnosis of Intellectual Development Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder/ Complex PTSD and mood disorders.
