Melissa is a registered psychologist and board-approved supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for the 5+1 registration pathway. Melissa is a warm supervisor that is passionate about supporting and guiding provisional and early career psychologists build their confidence within their clinical skills.
Melissa has extensive experience working across both private and public sectors. She is skilled in and provides supervision of evidenced-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills. Melissa applies a systemic and trauma-informed lens within her practice, holds a special interest in working with and supporting trauma-based presentations using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and is currently upskilling in Schema Therapy.
Having a background in schools, Melissa is skilled in psychometric assessment, formulation, and report writing for diagnosis of Intellectual Disability, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
