Clinical Psychologist

Gavin is a Clinical Psychologist and a peer-reviewed published author with extensive experience treating children and adolescents with mental health in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Gavin is a board-approved supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), who provides supervision to psychologists in all stages of their training. He is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

He is an accredited Australian International TF-CBT Trainer and has experience in the implementation and application of TF-CBT for children and adolescents. In addition, he has conducted research in this area, publishing “An Intensive Form of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in an Acute Adolescent Inpatient Unit: An Uncontrolled Open Trial”, with his PTS co-founder, Natalie Cabrera.
